Giving Back – Supporting DCU

Affinity credit card

Dublin City University has partnered with AIB to offer you an affinity credit card with a reduced interest rate, issued exclusively to DCU graduates, staff, students and friends of the University. Apart from offering great benefits to you, AIB has undertaken to make a donation of €12.70 to the University, and more importantly, for every transaction made on each card, AIB will give a percentage to the University.

The objective of this exclusive offer is to provide additional benefits to students and graduates. If you have been considering applying for the DCU Affinity credit card, the special benefits exclusive for the DCU community may make the idea even more attractive.

DCU Educational Trust

For over 15 years, the DCU Educational Trust has supported the dramatic growth of Ireland's youngest and most dynamic university. From support of campus development projects like the John and Aileen O'Reilly Library and the new Helix Arts Centre, to support of campus-based research fellowships and access scholarships for economically disadvantaged students, the Trust serves the ever-changing needs of the DCU community. DCU's goal is to be the finest educational institution in Ireland. The mission of the Trust is to ensure the resources are available to make that goal a reality.

The DCU Annual Fund is made up of a number of Alumni and friends who make gifts every year to support the university's most urgent ongoing needs. Gifts of all sizes to the Annual Fund are important and with these gifts, the DCU Educational Trust makes targeted grants, which provide critical support for scholarships and programmes within the university.
