Transcripts and Parchments

How do I obtain a replacement copy of my exam transcripts or get a certificate of attendance letter?

Transcripts

When making the request you will need to have the following information –

  • Student number, name and date of birth
  • Programme and years of study
  • Contact number and postal address
  • Form of payment

Pre 1996 Graduation: transcripts can take up to three weeks to process.

Post 1996 Graduation: transcripts can be processed within 3 working days.

Cost

  • 1 year transcript = €10.00
  • For complete or (part of) award set = €20.00
    (a duplicate copy of the transcripts are included in the fee above)

Payment: Credit Card/Laser over the phone to Registry Office- 01 7005338. Cheque, Bank Draft or Postal Order made payable to Dublin City University .

If collecting transcripts from the Registry, cash can be paid upon collection.

Employers

Copies to employers can be sent out at the same charge as above.

A letter of action can be sent out to employer to confirm that your transcripts from DCU will be available shortly. The Registry must receive prior written authorisation from the student before providing the employer with transcripts.

We will post out the transcripts and receipt of payment to the address provided.

Parchments

When making the request you will need to have the following information –

  • Student number, name and date of birth
  • Programme and year of graduation
  • Contact number and postal address

Form of payment – Credit Card/Laser/Bank Draft/Cheque

Statutory Declaration Form signed by a Commissioner of Oaths stating that your original parchment has been destroyed or lost: available from DCU Exams Office.

The completed form should be forwarded to the Examinations Office, The Registry, DCU, Dublin 9 along with a fee of €70.
