Prof. Paschal Preston's teaching and research interests include the interface between new ICT and socio-economic change, innovation in digital media, communication and international relations, the political economy of information, gender and technology. He is the founder-director of the Society, Technology and Media (STeM) research centre, also based in the School of Communications. Paschal Preston is a member of several multi-country research networks and has been involved in several international projects addressing socio-economic and policy aspects of new ICT and the information economy. He is the author of 'Reshaping Communications: Technology, Information and Social Change' [London and Thousand Oaks CA: Sage, 2001].
