William teaches in the area of digital content creation on both undergraduate and postgraduate Multimedia programmes, specialising in Digital Video and DVD production. He was chair of the B.Sc. Multimedia programme from 1999 to 2001, chair of the Technology Committee in 2002-2003 and a recipient of a Teaching and Learning Fellowship for 2003-2005. He is currently researching the use of DVD technology as an educational tool within a teaching and learning environment.
