Irish Society for Immunology
Annual Meeting - 12th & 13th September 2013
The mission of the Irish Society of Immunology is to contribute to better health in Ireland and worldwide through improved understanding of immunology. The Irish Society for Immunology was established in 1984 to promote the discipline within Ireland. Since then, the society has grown and developed along with the number and variety of members. The core membership of the society is made up of immunologists working in the areas of infection, autoimmunity, inflammatory disease and signalling as well as clinical immunologists. There is a large emphasis within the society on supporting the career development of postgraduates and postdoctoral scientists. Every year the society holds a scientific meeting to showcase the immunology research being carried out in Ireland, to harness collaboration between Irish immunologists and provide an opportunity for them to listen to prestigious international immunologists present and discuss their research.
This year Dublin City University will host the ISI Annual Meeting at the Crowne Plaza, Dublin on the 12th and 13th September 2013. Details of registration and abstracts can all be found on this website. Further information about the ISI can be found at www.irishimmunology.ie.
