Biography:

Ann Largey joined DCU in September 2006. Prior to working in DCU, Ann was a lecturer in Queen’s University, Belfast. She has also taught in University of Ulster, Nottingham University (during a spell as a visiting scholar) and in University of California (while a Ph.D. student and later visiting on sabbatical).

Ann’s current research centres on social urban issues and social capital, interests she developed while pursuing her Ph.D.. Her specialised Ph.D. fields were Applied Microeconomics based – Urban and Transport Economics. She has also undertaken research in areas of Health Economics and Statistics.
