About Us

Welcome to the website for the Centre for Educational Evaluation also known as the CEE.

The CEE Research Unit is situated at the School of Education Studies, DCU.

The Centre has two main roles:
(1) to undertake the evaluation of educational policies, programmes and projects.
(2) To undertake research and development work around supporting the emergence of self-evaluation capacity as a methodology of improved professional practice and organisational performance.

Rationale of the Centre
The main mission of the Centre is to advance educational access and equity for all. The research focus of the Centre is on the evaluation of educational policies, programmes and objectives. These interests are brought together by specialising in evaluating and improving educational provision for the most marginalised members of society.

Centre Board - the actions of the centre are overseen by a board made up of specialists in evaluation drawn from a number of institutions:
