Dr Annelies Kamp, Lecturer in the School of Education Studies and Programme Co-ordinator for the MSc Education & Training Management (Leadership), has been awarded the Best Early Career Paper Award at the 2nd International Conference on Networks, Learning and Entrepreneurship hosted by the Waterford Institute of Technology in conjunction with the School of Management and Business, Aberystwyth University, Wales and the Regional Studies Association (RSA).

This conference is part of the Strategic Learning Networks in Ireland & Wales project, part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the INTERREG 4A Ireland Wales programme 2007-2013. Building upon existing work on networks, learning and entrepreneurship, the conference focused on interdisciplinary approaches to entrepreneurial networks, learning through networks,entrepreneurship and regional development, the role of intermediaries in networks and knowledge transfer through networking.
Annelies drew on her doctoral research, conducted in Australia, for her paper which is entitled 'Jobs 4 Kids: Networking and Learning for Youth within one Regional Economy in Victoria, Australia'. View Annelies' paper
