The Annual Research Seminar is an opportunity for members of the Schooling Sexualities Research Network and others from the academy and the general public to come together to consider emerging issues in Relationships and Sexuality Education.
The 2010 Research Seminar will be held on the 8th November at 3-5pm in XG01 and it will be entitled “Critical Approaches to Relationships and Sexuality Education”. This years seminar will be presented by Dr. Margarita Gerouki who’s research in Finland and Greece has been published in several leading academic journals.
Originally from Greece, Dr. Gerouki’s research interests include relationships and sexuality education, teacher education, and multicultural and sexual minorities’ issues.
She has been living and working in Finland for over a decade from where she has conducted research on relationships and sexuality education in schools.
Dr. Gerouki’s research has appeared in leading academic journals and she has contributed to many international conferences related to sexuality and education.
This seminar will be of interest to lecturers, researchers, post-graduate students, teachers, parents, policy makers and others interested in Relationships and Sexuality Education.
