Welcome to the Graduate Studies Office

Graduate Studies are central to the mission of Dublin City University (DCU).  The research activities and advanced study of our postgraduate students gives life to DCU as a research intensive, globally engaged University of Enterprise.

Masters and doctoral students, on both taught and research programmes, make up one quarter of DCU's student body, and are the most diverse group on campus. Mature students, international students and part time students are all highly represented and contribute to the rich learning environment.

Led by the Dean of Graduate Studies, Dr Lisa Looney, the Graduate Studies Office supports the development and delivery of research and taught postgraduate programmes across the University and provides a range of support services for its graduate students.

This website provides information for prospective graduate students including an online prospectus, details on the application process for both taught and research programmes, and information on funding opportunities for research students. It also provides information for current graduate students including details of training courses for research students and academic progression and examination regulations.
