When does the pension levy come into effect?

The Pension Levy is effective from 1^st March 2009.

Am I liable for the pension levy?

All members of the DCU Superannuation Scheme are liable for the levy.  If you are not in the DCU Superannuation Scheme but are in another public service pension scheme, have opted out, hold a future benefit entitlement, or receive payment in lieu of membership of such a scheme then the levy will also apply. 

How do I notify DCU of my membership/non-membership/entitlement under a public service pension scheme?

You should complete a pension declaration form and return it to the Payroll Department as soon as possible.
