Preparation for Interviews

Target Audience:
This session will benefit staff members who want to learn more about the recruitment and selection process at DCU and who are preparing for interviews.
Aims of this course:
• to identify the steps involved in preparing for interview
• to explore participants' strengths and how to sell these
• identified how their interests can be targeted to particular roles
• to provide tips for coping with nerves at the interview
• to highlight the importance of seeking feedback after the interview
At the end of this session, participants will have gained:
• information on how to prepare for interviews
• an understanding of the importance of identifying and selling their strengths
• tips for dealing with nerves on the day
• an understanding of the importance of seeking feedback.
