Target Audience:

Staff who are reasonably familiar with MS Excel but require assistance in the transition from MS Excel 2003 to MS Excel 2007/2010

At the end of this workshop, participants will know how to:

• navigate the new Microsoft Excel 2007 and 2010 user interface
• create a new workbook with templates
• manage lists with data tables
• use functions to calculate data in a table
• sort and filter lists and tables
• remove duplicate values
• use picture layout and smart art
• present data using charts
• save a custom chart template
• use new conditional formatting features
• sort and filter data using conditional formatting
• use functions to apply conditional formatting
• calculate with formulas and functions
• create a pivot table report
• modify pivot table results
