Undergraduate Programme Application

Entry Requirements:

The following Indian qualifications suffice for application to Undergraduate degree programmes at DCU:

• Higher Secondary School Certificates - Indian School Certificate [ISC]/ Intermediate Certificate/ Higher School Certificate /Higher Secondary Certificate/ All India Senior School Certificate / Pre-University course - awarded on completion of Standard XII.

If awarded by CBSE, CISCE and Metro state boards

Application Procedures:

Students should apply directly to DCU using the undergraduate direct application form.

Applicants are required to apply directly to the University by 1st July. Please note that applications are accepted from October of the previous year of study and candidates will be notified of the status of their application within 4 weeks of application. Applicants are advised to apply early to avoid disappointment.

Please note that students awaiting results of the High School examinations may apply and may be made a `conditional offer'.

Postgraduate Programme Application

Holders of Bachelors, and Masters degrees with good grades from competitive Universities and Colleges in India will be considered for entry to postgraduate degrees at DCU.

The following qualifications suffice for application to Postgraduate Taught degree programmes at DCU:

• Bachelor degree from a Central University, State University or a Centre of Advanced study or Institute of National Importance. Students with high grades will be considered for postgraduate study.
• Master’s Degree

DCU uses an online application procedure for postgraduate taught programmes via what is called the Postgraduate Application Centre (PAC). The website can be accessed at http://www.pac.ie Please note that applications are accepted from October of the previous year of study and candidates will be notified of the status of their application within 4 weeks of application. All Non-EU candidates are advised to apply as early as possible, particularly where they are nationals of a Non-EU state where a study visa is required.

Faculty of Engineering postgraduate programmes have a September and February intake.

Postgraduate Programmes (Master's / PhD)

Prior to submitting an application it is essential that candidates make contact with potential supervisors in the first instance. All applications to undertake graduate research must be submitted on the University’s official Postgraduate Studies Application Form and must have the support of a potential supervisor.
