Invent client company Gesaky has developed an Interactive Mirror
which is designed to give the ultimate customer shopping experience.
The mirror will not only give you all the information about the garment you try on it will also suggest matching items and accessories.
Based on Radio Frequency Identification Technology (RFID)* this interactive mirror brings real innovation to the fashion sector. It looks like a regular mirror but it doesn’t act like one. Through the latest Insight Software the mirror will interactively display information on the garment you are wearing once you stand in front of the mirror. For example, you try on a suit and the mirror will display suggestions for a matching shirt and tie.
As well as helping the customer to look their best the mirror provides the retailer daily analytics on the shopping habits of customers within the store as well as tracking the movements of particular garments within the store. This will allow retailers to make quick changes instore thus providing better customer service and ultimately increased turnover.
Supported by IBM the Gesaky Interactive Mirror is currently being demonstrated in their “Shop of the Future” in London and will be formally
launched at Enterprise Ireland’s London office.
*RFID tags are intelligent bar codes that can talk to a networked system to track the movement of products.
