Another Top University Implements Digitary
Invent company Digitary has recently gone live at University of Cambridge with its electronic graduation document system. The system uses high level electronic signatures for universities to issue secure transcripts, degree certificates and other documents. Other customer institutions include Australian National University, London School of Economics and Universidade do Porto in Portugal. Digitary CEO Jonathan Dempsey says: "These are the top institutions in their countries. University of Cambridge is the top university outside the United States and is a happy customer. That makes it a fantastic reference." The company has recently added new functionality to the system and aims to give institutions a complete solution to the issuing and authentication of documents and complete compliance with Data Protection requirements. Twenty one Irish institutions also have the system.
