The Centre for Scientific Computing & Complex Systems Modelling (SCI-SYM) is a centre of excellence in high performance computing (HPC) applied to computational and mathematical models for complex systems in engineering, natural and applied sciences. The team have recently established a HPC research cluster facility here at DCU.
| Scientific Computing & Modelling Overview |
| Modeling Tool for Bacteria Antibiotic Interactions | ||
| Software tool that simluates the growth and interactions of bacterial cells with antibiotics, to predict the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) value of antibiotic required to combat a particular bacterium. The MIC is the key measure of antibiotic efficacy used in clinical assessment. |
