Seminar on Protecting and Funding Your Ideas– 21st April 2009

Invent DCU was delighted to welcome Beauchamps Solicitors to DCU to deliver a seminar entitled"Getting started - protecting and funding your ideas" on Tuesday 21^st April 2009. The seminar outlined the legal issues faced by start up companies including how to protect intellectual property rights and explored funding options for start ups. The speakers were Máire Cunningham, Partner, Beauchamps Solicitors and Maureen Daly, Partner and Head of Technology & Intellectual Property, Beauchamps Solicitors. This seminar is particularly relevant given DCU’s increasing focus on commercialising technologies.
