Entrepreneur and Dragon, Sarah Newman gives Seminar in Invent DCU – 15^th October 2009

Invent DCU was delighted to welcome Sarah Newman on 15th October 2009 as part of Innovation Dublin’s programme of events at DCU.

Sarah Newman is a dotcom millionaire and Ireland's only female dragon on the hit TV series Dragons’ Den. She was the founder of needahotel.com, a business of booking hotel reservations online. In 2006, she employed 95 people and sold the business for a speculated €50M along with long term contracts with Ryanair, Aer Lingus, and BMI.  Always looking for a new challenge, Sarah has since diversified into private equity investments, being a chalet operator in the Alpine Mountains and is a dragon who is always looking for new ventures and passionate entrepreneurs in Ireland.
