Following the success of the inaugural Tech Venture Creation Programme Invent DCU is now accepting applications for 2011
Who should attend?
If you are a DCU researcher and you have an idea for a technology business that you would like to explore, this programme will take you through the process of evaluating your idea by identifying and discussing all the issues you will encounter at early stage set up. On completion of this programme you will know if your idea has commercial potential and you will be ready to turn this into a reality. Following a pitch process at the end of the programme up to 4 participants will be offered a prize of business coaching along with concept desk space at Invent.
How is it delivered?
All of the modules are presented by a group of talented business people with relevant commercial experience in the technology sector. This will ensure that participants are getting advice and examples based on real life experiences. As a 12 module programme, classes are delivered over a six week period on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for 3 hours. This unique programme has been heavily subsidised and the resulting cost per participant is €300.
