Invent DCU has prepared a number of template agreements to support for the most commonly encountered interactions experienced by researchers when seeking to engage with external third parties.

While the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) headings below provide links to template agreements, we would kindly request if you require agreements of either type, that you contact the relevant member of the Invent DCU/Research and Innovation Support team to develop an agreement appropriate to your needs.

In many instances some companies will not use an NDA or MTA prepared by DCU and will instead request DCU to use their proprietary agreements. In such instance, these agreements must be provided to Invent DCU in sufficient time for review and in order to seek amendment where necessary, prior to signature by DCU. It should also be noted, that such third party agreements as with all contracts can only be signed by an authorised signatory of DCU (please list provided below).
