Welcome to the National Centre for Plasma Science & Technology (NCPST)

The NCPST is the Irish National Research Centre on plasma related research.  It is a multidisciplinary centre bringing together scientists and engineers to address both fundamental and applied question relating to the advancement and development of plasma related research for the benefit of both industry and society locally and internationally.

Research & Innovation

The National Centre for Plasma Science and Technology is a strong multidisciplinary research centre with research staff from the faculties of science and health and engineering and computing at DCU.

Commercial

The NCPST endeavours to be a world class research centre for plasma related research, producing world class publications and graduates.

Education & Training

Both the MSc degree and the Postgraduate Diploma consist of six course modules plus a research project with a dissertation. Individual modules may be taken for professional training and development or as part of another academic programme. Modules are designed to be compatible with the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
