DCU Ryan Academy for Entrepreneurship has announced a new programme for social enterprise development, which will be delivered part-time in the DCU outreach centre in Ballymun. The new programme will run for 8 weeks from Friday 9 October. This is the first time such a programme has been delivered in Ireland by a university.

DCU Ryan Academy is delighted to participate in Innovation Dublin, a week-long festival of events highlighting and promoting innovation in the city. DCU’s contribution ranges from accessing innovation funding to Innovative Thinking and Leadership for the Social Sector to presentations of research excellence in our CSETs and also includes a talk from Dragon’s Den Judge – Sarah Newman.

Mr Eamon Gilmore, TD and Leader of the Labour Party delivered a lecture on ‘Fostering Entrepreneurship’ to a large gathering on Thursday 11th June.
