The DCU Access Service Schools Programme is an initiative of Dublin City University. The Programme works in Partnership with School staff, Area Partnerships, local communities, undergraduates, DCU staff and students from primary and secondary schools.

We have four core aims:

• To raise awareness about third level within participating schools
• To increase numbers from participating schools entering third level
• To support students to achieve their academic potential
• To promote positive attitudes to education in the community

We recognise that there are numerous economic, educational and social barriers facing many potential third level students. Our Schools Programme initatives aim to enable students to overcome these barriers.
