Careers Advice for International Students

Introduction

The DCU Careers Service is available to all students including International Students. We work with you to enhance your employability skills and graduate attributes by assisting you with your career development and management skills.  We provide a range of information, education, advice and guidance to students and graduates seeking employment and further study.

International students are an important part of DCU. There are nearly 2,000 international students from 115 countries studying at this University.

As an international student, you have a lot to offer employers.

• Cultural awareness offering an understanding of foreign markets and helping the organisation understand and deal with overseas customers.
• Technical skills.
• Helping to facilitate the receptiveness of new ideas.
