This is the Main Room in the Inter Faith Centre and is used by all faith traditions for liturgical and religious celebrations. Catholic Eucharist is celebrated on a regular basis. Islamic Jumu’ah Prayer is held every Friday and all other faith communities have their prayer gatherings in this room. ‘An Tearmann’ is an old Celtic expression which means ‘place of refuge’ or ‘sanctuary’. Many of the Clubs & Societies also hold their meetings in this area. The room accommodates 80 people sitting and has the capacity to hold an extra 30 people using stools. An Tearmann is open for use by all groups in DCU and should be booked in advance with Reception.
