Campus Accommodation

DCU has 980 rooms available on campus for undergraduate students and 103 rooms available for postgraduate students.

Students must apply for accommodation directly to campus residences, students wishing to avail of rooms set aside for students with a disability must register with the Service and provide the appropriate documentation.

Allocations of rooms are held each year for students with disabilities, including accessible rooms.

Who can apply for the accommodation allocation reserved for the Disability & Learning Support Service?

Students with disabilities can include those who:

  • are blind or partially sighted
  • are deaf or hard of hearing
  • have specific learning difficulties (e.g. Dyslexia)
  • have physical/mobility disabilities
  • have hidden disabilities (e.g. Epilepsy, Diabetes, Asthma)
  • have speech and language disabilities
  • have mental health concerns
  • have significant health/medical concerns

Is there adapted accommodation on campus?

Yes. If you are a wheelchair user or have a physical disability, there are a number of purpose built living units available for undergraduates and postgraduates.
