S2/Week 8: March 20th - 26th 2017
As you would expect, the next few weeks will be quieter, with fewer 'organised' events taking place, leaving you time to consolidate your learning and focus on your classwork. With only five weeks left to the end of Semester, you should ensure that you have your notes in order, that you have a good study plan in place and a clear overview of submission dates and/or dates for oral examinations, presentations etc. If you need help with any of this, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll make an individual appointment with you.
Focus this Week:
Learning: You will find all sorts of useful information about time management, tips for presentations and other useful academic skills development tools on the Academic Study Skills Resource page.
Pathways to Success Programme - Book in for a programme that will get you kick started on goal setting, motivation and confidence building. More details available at https://www4.dcu.ie/advice/pathways-to-success.shtml
The detailed Examination Timetables will be available via your Student Apps pages. The full Academic Calendar 2016/2017 can be found here- this will give you the 'exam period' in May and for the August Repeat Examinations.
