DCU Educational Trust

How You Can Help

Through the generosity of our alumni, friends and supporters, the Dublin City University (DCU) Educational Trust has supported the dramatic growth of Ireland’s youngest and most dynamic university. From our support of campus development projects like The Helix, to our sponsorship of campus-based research fellowships and access scholarships for economically disadvantaged students, the Trust serves the ever-changing needs of the DCU community.

We invite you to join us in enhancing our commitment to The University through the following programmes:-

The DCU Annual Fund provides an opportunity for alumni, students, staff and friends to build a legacy of excellence for our students, our community and our nation. Every gift to the DCU Annual Fund – no matter the size – makes a real difference. In support of the DCU Annual Fund, a Telethon takes place in the Summer and Winter of each year from our students to over 30,000 graduates updating them on campus and alumni activities and encouraging their involvement and support in such initiatives like the DCU Community Team, DCU Alumni Golf Classic, Mentorship Programmes, etc

The DCU Access Programme was created in 1989 to target schools in the University’s North Dublin neighbourhood. It has since evolved into a national programme and now accepts students from all over the country, making it the largest and most successful programme of its kind in Ireland. We currently have over 400 students on access scholarships at DCU from all of the 26 counties. Every Access Scholarship is privately funded through the generosity of friends of DCU.
