The DCU Educational Trust runs a number of recurring events for supporters, students, alumni and friends of Dublin City University. 

 Recipients of memorial scholarship awards

Service of Remembrance and Memorial Scholarship Ceremony

Evey year, DCU celebrates the life and achievements of individuals memorialised through endowed scholarships in the university. This special event in the DCU calendar begins with a service of remembrance, followed by a presentation ceremony to award talented students with scholarships in memory of benefactors, former students and graduates of the university.  Read more

 Jonathan Turner Citi Speakers

Citi Speaker Series

The DCU Educational Trust, in conjunction with the DCU Business School and with the support of Citi, invites leading Irish business people to campus to inspire DCU’s final year business students with entrepreneurial creativity tempered by practical commercial realism. Through their participation in the Citi Series, students gain a unique opportunity to actively engage with senior business practitioners on a range of issues enhancing their knowledge of what it takes to do business.  Interns depart DCU for summer internships

Bennett Hospitality Internship Programme

The Bennett Hospitality internship programme is a collaborative initiative of the DCU Educational Trust and a member of its Board of Trustees, Michael Bennett, who owns Bennett Hospitality, a successful property development company in the United States. Every year, four students taking the New Enterprise Development module as part of their undergraduate Business Studies degree are selected from a competitive recruitment process to complete a ten-week internship programme in Charleston, South Carolina. Read more

 WIN Networking Event

Women’s Innovation Network

WIN@DCU is a bi-annual speaker series, highlighting the achievements of innovative women in business, science, communications and the humanities and invites leading women from these professions to DCU to share their thoughts on contemporary themes. The aim of this speaker series aims to empower our undergraduate students by giving them the opportunity to meet with these successful women as positive role models and to offer a learning and networking opportunity to our alumni and friends. Read more
