Faculty Administration Team

Purpose

The Faculty Administration Team is the critical interface for many of the operations and processes that are an essential part of the Faculty and University mission.

The primary function of the Faculty Administration Team is to provide effective administrative support and infrastructure for Faculty and constituent School and Centre operations. The Faculty Administration Team also contributes to the achievement of the strategic academic and operational objectives of the Faculty of Science & Health.

  3. Being pro-active, flexible and adaptable in relation to University initiatives and the needs of the constituent units of the Faculty
  4. Having a clear internal structure with clarity on reporting lines, areas of responsibility and ownership of tasks
  5. Actively engaging with and contributing to University and Faculty quality assurance and audit processes
  6. Regularly seeking and responding positively to feedback from all stakeholders on Faculty administrative services and performance
  7. Pro-actively planning, structuring and prioritising workload to maximise available resources
  8. Ensuring effective contingency arrangements for critical administrative functions
  9. Developing and sustaining excellent and professional internal and external relationships and collaborations
  10. Effectively communicating Faculty Administration Team function and services to all stakeholders, particularly new Faculty staff
